Fundraising Introduction
I would like to wish you a warm welcome from the fundraising team, and give you a little insight into what we do and how you can help the Society.
Stine Blowers is the community fundraiser, she has the responsibilty for all street collections, Pink Elephants and community events. So far we have over 110 pink elephants out in the city of York, with 2009 looking set to increase that to 160! Do you know anywhere that would like a Pink Elephant Collecting Box? If so please contact Stine Blowers.
Volunteers
This work would not be possible without the efforts of our volunteers. We are keen to try and establish a "Friends of YBPSS" group to fundraise at a small local level within their own communities. We hold a coffee morning once a month to discuss up and coming events and fundraising opportunities... its very informal and loads of fun. Please contact Stine Blowers for more details.
